Here’s What Buhari Promises Nigerians If He Survives Next 4 Years
President Muhammadu Buhari, 75, has told Nigerians not to hesitate voting him again in 2019.
“If I win the next election and I survive the next four years, I will do better,” Buhari said.
Buhari, the leading All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate for next year’s poll, made the remarks during an interactive session with selected Nigerian professionals in the United States and Canada.
Since becoming president in 2015, Buhari has been in and out of hospital in London. But the president insisted he remained the best man for the job.
Buhari said his second term bid is in the interest of ordinary Nigerians.
“I’m always conscious of the ordinary people because they are the ones that always vote for me.
“A lot of big men have no time to go and queue on the line for hours.
“There were even pregnant women who were on the line for hours and they delivered. They are my constituencies. They always vote for me,” he said.
